Number Machine - Sample Formats

On a typical receipt book you need the numbers to run down
the page and then start again at the top of the next page.
You see in this sample the first page contains the numbers
1, 2 and 3. The second page starts with the number 4.

Set the Heads
To accomplish this you first need to set your 3 numbering
heads by entering coordinates in the "Inches from
Left" column and "Inches from Top" column.
Sequence Down the Page
In order for the numbering head in the 2nd position to
be 1 number higher than the numbering head in the 1st
position you should go to the "Add To First Number"
column and enter a 1.
We
want the number in the 3rd position to be 2 numbers
higher than the 1st so for that entry you place a 2.
Now Step It!
Next we are looking for the numbers on each subsequent
page to be 3 numbers higher than the first so we must
tell the program to step. Enter the number 3 in the
Step box located on the far right hand side of the screen.
When
you're finished your settings should look similiar to
the screen below.
