About Us

Harvest American, Inc. is a small, privately-owned business based
in central New York. Our founder, Dave Farnsworth, is a third generation
owner/operator with more than 30 years experience in the commercial
printing business.
|
As desktop publishing and non-local internet shopping put most small-town
printers out of business, Dave turned to new products and services to stay
competitive. He has spent the past decade perfecting a line of software and
supplies for do-it-yourselfers. He developed Raffle Ticket, Number Machine and
Number Machine Pro and he can boast that he created the first commercially
available numbering software in the United States. We also have a line of
perforated papers designed to work with our software that run easily through
desktop printers and can be torn by hand to create a variety of professional
looking tickets, invitations, or other projects.

Harvest American's products are 100% American-made, providing jobs locally,
and we offer real customer support by real human beings who actually answer
the phone or respond to e-mails.

Since 2001, Harvest American has been proud to engage the services of several
full-time employees, many part-time contractors, dozens of American print shops
and paper suppliers, and the wonderful clients of the Madison-Cortland ARC, an
organization dedicated to providing employment for developmentally disabled.

Harvest American is committed to eco-friendly practices. From telecommuting
employees, to leaving the lights and air conditioners off, to buying paper with
no less than 20% recycled content, we are committed to reducing our footprint
upon this earth.

We also believe in supporting great causes. We regularly
give to charities, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association
(MDA), Leukemia and Lymphoma Association, the Crohn's
and Colitis Foundation, the Mkombozi Boy's Foundation,
local fire departments and ambulance corps, and others,
because we believe that it is our duty to do all we can
to give back to the community.
